Sunbeam
You don’t want to spend hundreds on a kitchen mixer, but it is hard to mix stiff dough and complete other projects by hand. Sunbeam has a solution.
Mixmaster
Any stand mixer review for the Mixmaster invariably mentions two things: no, this isn’t the same as a KitchenAid or Cuisinart, and yes, it is a spectacular value. It is not a high-end mixer, which means you do give up some of the more advanced technology that these other models offer. The 2 glass bowls may be heavier; the mixer may splatter if you are not paying attention; every component may not be made of brushed, powder coated steel. But, and this is a but worth listening to, the Mixmaster does a superb job in the kitchen, especially considering its price. It is a great value.
The Mixmaster has a 350 watt motor and 12 speeds, allowing you to tackle a wide variety of jobs. Other features include a comfortable soft grip handle, soft-start technology to prevent splattering when you begin mixing, and a convenient tilt-head design. This is equipped with a locking mechanism and bowl selector switch. With your mixer, you will receive 2 glass bowls, chrome beaters, whisks, and dough hooks.
Sunbeam stand mixers are known for their great value, and this is perhaps one of the best buys you can get for your kitchen.
Heritage Single Motor
The Heritage features a 350 watt motor, which is equipped to handle a variety of recipes and tasks. It has unique 3-way beating action and 12 speeds, including soft-start, for great control. Two rubber feet keep the mixer from traveling as you are using it, and the die-cast all metal construction ensures years of great use. What else can the Heritage Single Motor offer you?
You will receive 2 stainless steel mixing bowls in 4.6 quart and 2.2 quart sizes, adjustable bowl position, and stainless steel beaters and dough hooks. Sunbeam includes heavy-duty V-groove beaters, which are excellent for creaming butter and sugar, as well as making heavy batters. The tilt-head design makes it easy to add ingredients or remove your products.
As with other Sunbeam stand mixers, the Heritage Single Motor is value-priced and available to a wider variety of budgets than most other mixers. Some consumers are disappointed that it doesn’t have some of the advanced features of other mixers, but for the low price, you are getting a good, solid, reliable, and basic mixer that will come in handy time and time again.
Heritage Dual Motor
Why have one motor when you can have two? The Heritage Dual Motor features a dual 450 watt motor, which allows for great power, 3 way mixer action, and synchronized bowl and beater speeds. This mixer will handle tougher jobs with ease, while giving you great control. As with the Heritage Single Motor, this one features 12 speeds and a durable die-cast metal construction. You will get thorough, consistent mixing as the bowl speed increases and decreases automatically to correspond with the beater speed. The bowl selection lever allows you to use two different size bowls. This increases the versatility and usefulness of the mixer a great deal.
The Heritage Dual Motor features a tilt-head design for easy access and cleaning. As with the previous Heritage, this one comes with stainless steel wire whisks, V-groove beaters, and dough hooks. Make a hearty batch of bread and then cream the butter that goes on top. You can do so much with this great mixture.
